Dr Kyle Hoath
As A UWA Fogarty Fellow, he competed his undergraduate studies in Medicine before pivoting this drive into specialist training in psychiatry in Perth, Western Australia.
During training and achieving his Fellowship (FRANZCP), he has garnered diverse clinical experiences across the public, private practice and Non-Government Organisation Sectors.
He is highly involved in education and training of medical students and psychiatric trainees. He was the Chair of the Psychiatric Trainee association of WA and continues to deliver lecture, seminars and supervision to a diverse array of health professionals including General practitioners and other Mental Health Professionals.
During this time, he is developing a backbone of business understanding and how collaboration and teamwork accelerates the achievement of worthy goals.
He has been a Board member of a private Secondary School in Perth for 9 years and is immersed in completing an MBA through UWA.
Kyle has become increasingly strident in his approach that the ethos of validating patient choice and understanding should underpin all HealthCare and wellbeing delivery by services, the clinicians and the support team.
He is at the vanguard of the generation of medical professionals who are at ease and fascinated by the powerful developments in modern medical and disruptive technology.
These developments can complement and enable this ethos of participant driven wellbeing and health care.
His background in Mental Health has evinced that disruptive technology when managed with a view to flexibility, capacity for change and shepherded by the constant need for confidentiality and security will the participant’s journey to a more welcoming outcome.
Kyle is currently developing a psychiatric career in a private practice that resonates with his ethos of care.
Kyle is a Founding Member of Oqea and brings to the team vigour, a gentle and thoughtful camaraderie and a sharp-minded prowess.
